Like it or not, economics impacts all we do. While not as important as considering the natural resources or the well-being of our human and equine partners, it does play into those considerations. One of the reasons there are so many unwanted horses is that the economy is in turmoil and many people are facing financial hardship. On the other end of the spectrum, greed forms the basis for many activities that negatively impact the environment, people and equines.
So what can we do about all this? I don’t pretend to have the answer! But the place to start is by forming a personal intention to improve the economic well-being for all, not merely your own circle. This guiding principle will assist you in making wise personal choices and may lead you to revolutionize economics in your own area or even globally. As we all participate in this endeavor, new ways of being and acting will show up and be adopted that will support abundance for all, not just a few.
The process has begun. Create your intention and watch for all the other places that the new economy is showing up! Please share your ideas with me (see my contact info). On behalf of myself and your equines, thanks for joining the movement!
